Adult Acting Classes

The Performer's Edge has been training actors of all ages for over a decade. We offer weekly group acting classes and private in-person or online lessons.

Monday Group Acting/Filmmaking Class:

6:30PM - 9PM (Adults 18+)

Thursday Group Acting Class:

6:30PM - 9PM (Adults 18+)

Saturday Group Acting/Filmmaking Class:

1:30PM - 3:30PM (Adults and Youth 16+)

SATURDAY CLASS FOR MINORS:

***Because this is primarily an adult class, minors must audition by attending an audit. If accepted into the program, a waiver for minors will need to be signed by a parent or legal gaurdian. We take the well-being of our children and teens very serious at Performer's Edge. No minor is ever left alone with an adult classmate, and acting material for minors is vetted closely.

Kids/Teens Acting Classes

These classes are half in-person and half online for ages 5 to 15. In person classes are the 1st and 3rd Fridays of each month and on-line classes are the 2nd and 4th Fridays of each month. In-person classes are held at our Dallas Studio. Students are required to learn important terminology used on film sets, taught how to act for the camera, and are advised on how to get an agent and keep them in this competitive industry. Guest actors, directors, producers, and talent agents are invited to showcases and occassionally to classes to recruit from our young talent.

Friday Beginner Class:

5PM-6PM (Youth ages 12 and under)

Friday Advanced Class:

6:45PM - 8PM (Youth ages 12 - 15)

*A student must audit the class, free of charge, before joining. Placement in the beginner or advanced class will be decided by the coaches.
